If you want a good night's sleep don't stay here. While we were here there were bus loads of foreign school kids and tour groups loading in at night. The lounge room has a nice view over the water but the TV only has 2 channels and the lounges are missing their bases so you fal through to the floor.... More

Check-in was easy and the staff very friendly. Our domitory was reasonably spaceous and the shared bathrooms very clean. Our experience of the place was fairly decent. The building is a traditional Scots stone villa with large rooms including the public areas overlooking the water. Our room was large and clean and generally well equipped. It's not in the centre of Oban but Oban ain't a large place by any stretch of the imagination! It's an enjoyable short walk... More
