After reading all these nice reviews I got quite disappointed with my stay.
It is actually not a hotel, but more of a flat aparments out of the 50's, looked like a hounted mansion from the outside. But this is what the Aberdeen architecture is about.
I would not stay here again if coming back to Aberdeen.

Stayed for two nights, couldn't fault the place. Spacious, very clean and comfortable suites, pleasant and really attentive staff, excellent breakfast, located two minutes from the city centre at a fraction of the cost of a small pokey corporate hotel. If you are staying in Aberdeen you would be mad not to try Skene House Holburn.

We stayed for 2 nights in a one bedroom suite which was really a 2 bedroomed flat but with the added bonus of a great inclusive continental breakfast and a free drink!
All staff were very pleasant and we liked all the little touches like having our name on the door and fresh milk in the fridge.
