I was made very welcome in the hotel, people where very polite and service was first class, parking was available and food was 5 star with big portions, breakfast is the best one can ever imagine with so much selection and big helpings which is included in price of room. arrived with a reservation and the place was packed - outside, as well as indoors. Despite this, the staff were so courtious, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent - generous portions. After our meal, went through to the bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks. Again - could not fault anything. Will definately go back.

Myself, husband, 2 children & inlaws recently ate here & were all very impressed. The staff were all very friendly (gave the children colouring in things) the menu had a good choice & the prices very competitive. All 6 of us were thoroughly impressed with the food & the outside play area will be great to use in the summer,... More

I spent 5 weeks on course in Aberdeen in late 2011 and stayed across the road at a friendly B&B, i quickly made the Ferryhill my second home, eating reguarly and also just somewhere to sit and have a pint. The bar has a great atmosphere, warm, friendly and always welcoming. Paul and his team should be congratualted on the... More

Been to the ferryhill hotel many times and it never fails to satisfy your occasion. The menu has changed since I was last, with many new great additions + the usual pub grub. Couldn't fault the food, absolutely lovey and big portions to boot. Perfect place for a sunday family lunch, very attentive to babies needs. Great atmosphere and welcoming... More

Due to a weather delay I ended up in a guest house opposite the Ferryhill House Hotel and decided to have my evening meal in there, I must say I was impressed by the service and the quality of the food, I couldn't find fault with my starter or my main course and thoroughly enjoyed both. The staff where friendly... More

I wish I'd taken the time to read some of the reviews here prior to booking. I reserved a table for 16 for a leaving do - paying £10 per person in advance and having to take an early time slot because it was a busy time of year. No problem and we were willing to work around their availability.... More
