Endorse the opinions of other reviewers, that Furain is an excellent and good value choice for anyone wanting a base from which to explore NE Scotland. Comfortable rooms, plentiful breakfast menu and charming hosts.

We stayed with the Reids for 3 nights. The hot breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are friendly! The family room was very spacious, and clean. It is located on N. Deeside, close to the castle trail. Free parking is provided, and there is a bus stop just a few steps away that will take you into the city. I... More

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable. We had a front room and did not find it noisy at all. The breakfast was perfect - a lot of choice and yummy. Loved the yakult too - just what my tummy needed after 2 weeks on the road. The hosts were delightful - like you were staying with... More

Had a nice stay for one night in a family room and a single. Breakfast was a large selection of cereals and fruits and a long menu of cooked items. Wouldn't mind coming back at all. :-) The hosts were very hospitable, and ready too assist with our every request.

Very beautiful place with a lot of character. The room was very good and the choice at breakfast too much. Many thanks to the Reid family.

What a wonderful B&B find. We had a comfortable triple room with nice views of the countryside. The breakfast was fabulous, there aren’t too many B&Bs that are willing to provide a Kippered Herring option for breakfast. We found that many of the fellow traverels staying there were not form overseas and we actually learned of one venue that we... More

Overall, Furain offers a comfortable stay. I think the biggest asset for it are the owners, as they are very personable and accommodating. Although the decor is somewhat dated, the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Others have commented on the breakfasts, and while there is quite a lot of choice, my experience was that the portions are not as... More

The Furain is a cracking place to stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped with TV, tea making stuff etc. There's a large lounge for guests interestingly furnished and with some very good local books on the shelves if you fancy a read. As others have said the breakfast was first class with a huge choice of pretty much... More
