The rooms are tiny. The plumbing is noisy. The bathroom is smelly. The manager went on holiday and left us with no breakfast one morning no joke. The hosts were nice enough but the cleanliness left much to be desired, perhaps not totally their fault but the people using it. Needs to have en-suit facilities

This is a really poor place. I paid £75 for the priviledge and would make strenuous efforts not to stay here again. It is an armpit; advertised as offering full breakfast, but this is a tray of food in your room. The shared bathrooms have not been cleaned, with mould on the curtain and stains on the walls. We booked the Open Hearth Guest House through the Visit Scotland phoneline after finding that a lot of the Aberdeen hotels / guesthouses were full.
