We arrived in Derry on a cold and wet Autumn day and we were greeted by the gentleman of the house, Thomas. The house was warm and Thomas was so inviting as he showed us through the house and to our rooms. Thomas offered to share his knowledge of Derry and its history and even gave us advice as to a great place to experience the local culture aka Peadar O’Donnell’s Bar. In the morning we were greeted by Thomas’ lovely daughters as we made our way downstairs for breakfast and treated to a fry up of bacon, eggs, hash brown, mushrooms, grilled tomato. We felt welcome and invited to witness a glimpse of a beautiful Irish family. If you want a hotel experience, this is not the place for you. If you want a warm, inviting home environment with people who are happy to share their history and experiences then you can’t go past Rose Park House.…

Wonderful hospitality. Rose Park is immaculately clean, furnished to a very high standard and welcoming to visitors. Breakfast was hot and plentiful with several options; cooked breakfast, toast, fruit etc. Thomas gave us lots of tips for local viewpoints and some for further on our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. ❤️🏴

We have been very fortunate in finding this super family run home. Everything was spot on. Beautiful and clean, breakfast perfect, and a great welcome from the family who were very accommodating. Located near a well kept park, just pretty much over the road which is a lovely walk through to the town centre. Thank you so very much to the family for our 4 night stay and we will most certainly return to you on our next visit to Derry.

Conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from city centre through a lovely park. Very welcoming owner who was very knowledgeable and happy to talk about Irelands history, which I very much enjoyed. Would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again

Probably the best BnB we've stayed in ,the owners are very welcoming and warm .the house is huge , spotlessly clean and very homely . Our room was warm, clean and had its own ensuite, king size bed and flat screen t.v . The bed was very comfortable with a good heavy duvet and a couple of pillows each . It has all you can ask for Great host Free parking WiFi Freedom to come and go as you please And a hearty cooked breakfast. I'd say it's only a ten minute walk into the city or a taxi is only £4 The evening veiw over the city is fantastic Can't wait to go back,I fully recommend it

Very friendly host and very knowledgeable about local history. Spotless rooms and very good breakfast. He even gave us some home made cake to take away with us which was delicious. If we come back to Derry, we will definitely stay here again. David and Pauline.

From the minute we arrived Mary was so helpful. We even got to meet her baby son and nephew. Room was spotless and the shower was amazing!! Location was excellent too. About a 10 minute walk down through the park into the centre of town. Breakfast was top notch. A choice of cereals, a fry or both with tea and toast. Sat at our table chatting to other guests, which was really enjoyable. Will definitely be back!!

Stayed two nights and had a wonderful time in Derry. Thomas should have been a history professor. He spent an hour with us during and after breakfast telling us about the history of Derry. We learned enough so that we could thoroughly enjoy and appreciate our self-guided walking tour through the murals and around the top of the wall. A beautiful property walking distance to the old city. Perfect breakfast. The old ring fort was a great recommendation too!

Both Thomas and his daughter Mary were the perfect hosts and made us both very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, really kind and lovely people. They even even had a facility to safely park our motorhome. Ample choice of items for breakfast freshly prepared which set us up for the day. The B&B is spotless with a lovely comfy bed and fluffy towels. Both Thomas and Mary shared interesting information about the history and gave us some good tips where to visit, eat and be entertained. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again THANKYOU Thomas and Mary. Not forgetting Daisy and Mary's beautiful baby

Thomas and his family were great hosts. Going well beyond what was expected he offered to give me a lift to Derry Airport for my return flight home . Good breakfast , nice clean bedroom with a very comfortable double bed in which I slept like a log. Fully recommended and would return again.
