We stayed here when Abbey - 2 doors down and owned by the same family was full - and couldn't have got luckier! Room was very comfortable and well equipped. The owners don't live in, but there are plenty of facilities for making drinks and snacks and they arrive to cook an excellent breakfast. They are also full of good... More

One of the highlights of our extended holiday. We were away for almost nine weeks, staying in so many b/bs and there were none that provided better value than this one. Friendly hosts, great location, an excellent night's sleep, hot shower and hearty breakfast. What more can I say? More

I cannot fault the Amore Bed and Breakfast. In fact I loved it and would not hesitate to stay there again. I was greeted by the owner Barry who got me a map of the city and pointed out the places to see and where to eat and drink. He could not have been more helpful. Our room was very... More

Spent one night here recently. The B&B is in a good location next to the main sights of the Bogside murals and the old city walls. Both sites can bee done within a couple hours. The B&B was nice and simple. Room was clean. Breakfast was good as well. Wi-fi worked throughout the house although we weren't able to connect... More

This small B&B is very close to everything one wants to see in Derry. The breakfast is super and the hosts, Joan and Barry, go out of their way to make your stay memorable - full of information and good tips for restaurants in town, etc. Can't recommend this place too much! More

We stayed when Liz was looking after the B & B. She was such a lovely, friendly woman who couldn't have done more for us. The B & B was very close to bars and shops. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Great value for money. More

After several visits to Ireland that was the time to go north. Derry was a nice and lovely city and this B&B is perfect to discover it, just a 5 min walk to the Wall and the centre. Barry gave us good advice for museum, tour, pubs and restaurant. We had a huge room and a perfect breakfast with deliciuos... More

My mother and I stayed here when visiting Derry for a couple of days and were really impressed. Our room was great - a double bed and a large single in one room, a separate 'dressing area', and a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was served from 8 until 10.30, so we weren't hurried, and the food was excellent. Joan was... More

We stayed at Amore on a Friday night before heading off to a wedding outside Letterkenny on the Saturday. We had an extremely warm welcome with tea and biscuits, a spacious and spotless double room with en-suite and a brilliant home-cooked breakfast. The location is also very good, only a short walk from Derry town centre. Whilst in Derry we... More
