I stayed here for my Birthday weekend in Swansea, the hotel has a nice bar and lobby, friendly staff. It is right across the road from the train station, and a short walk from the shops and bars. Parking is free if you stay on Saturday night as the barriers are up on a Sunday morning. The room was clean,... More

Booked here for a change, good central location, right next to station and walking distance of 8 minutes to wind street. The Grand has had a refurbishment however we were unfortunate not to have a refurbished room so were massively dissapointed. the room was basic and the bed uncomfy. It only has old fashoined curtains and nothing else, so to... More

Stayed 3 nights at the Grand Hotel after traveling by train from London. Hotel directly across from train station -modern and trendy. Very friendly and helpful staff, Room was nice and clean- one thing I did not like is that the aircon is controlled from the checkin desk and you have to call. Cannot control air temp so it can... This is an attractive Art Deco hotel dating from the 1930s. It is excellently located for rail travellers being right by the station. (It's nowhere near the bus station, unfortunately - no joined-up public transport here!) My room was spacious and comfortable. There was a good choice at breakfast with the (very generously proportioned!) cooked part being brought to your... More

Thank you so much to Trudy who made this stay possible. I had such an amazing time, my partner and I enjoyed ourselves very much. The hot tub on the balcony was a real treat, even though it was freezing out side, being in the hot tub warmed us up. The bathroom is a lovely size, my partner used the... More

Overnight stay on the 3rd floor would not have been able to manage a second night. Room very small pokey with a strong smell of damp. Bed lumpy and uncomfortable, bed linen and furnishings needed replacing. Breakfast although at first seemed good value was mainly cold. Will not be returning,

We were left with finding a hotel at very short notice and were in the middle of booking a room via the Internet when we found the hotel. We were able to get the room at the same price but with breakfast thrown in for a dollar! The front office clerk was one of the most personable hotel clerks we... More

I decided last minute to go away with friends, they had all booked hotels in advance so I needed to book something quickly. I have never stayed at the grand before but the room was good value and the reviews were good. On arrival, the reception staff were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent, right next... More

Lovely hotel just far enough from Wind St to be quiet but central enough you can walk to town. Executive room was lovely with jacuzzi bath and balcony, mini bar, toiletries, hair dryer and ironing board. Would stay again
