We stay at a lot of b and bs and this is one of our favourites. A genuine friendly welcome to a little bit of tranquil south Wales ( without being too far from good places to eat etc.) Rooms good with especially comfy beds ( attention paid to detail, like light but warm quilts ). We were lucky enough... More

We stayed there for a night and absolutely loved it. The rooms are large and extremely clean, the house itself is an old farm house. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, and gave us great pieces of advice on local attractions. The Welsh breakfast, with products from local farmers, was also excellent. It is not located inside Swansea but nearby,... More

Arrived on Friday afternoon to a very warm welcome from Christine, Martin and to dogs. Lovely farm house with fantastic views and Christine and Martin are very helpful, including running us to and from the local pub to get some dinner. The full Welsh breakfast the next morning was execellent. We would definitely stay there again.

We arrived Friday early evening after a long drive with very young children for a 2 night break. We were all welcomed warmly & shown around whilst being offered a drink & to make ourselves at home. One of our children was unwell in the middle of the night & the proprietor was very understanding about the extra washing/cleaning we... More

After a very long drive with horrendous traffic, we arrived several hours later than planned and were welcomed with a cup of tea and delicious welsh cakes! Rooms are clean and spacious. Christine and Martin were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent cooked breakfast (all locally sourced ingredients). Beautiful house, very homely. Fabulous walks and scenery. Will... We were delayed in our arrival yet we were greeted warmly with the offer of tea and Welsh cakes - very welcome on a dismal evening. The following morning the couple who own the farmhouse provided a breakfast spread that filled four young strapping lads to the point of bursting - with the offer of copious quantities of toast, cereal,... Brynawel farm is everything you could hope for from a b&b. With its cosy, clean and spacious rooms it is a total bargain at the price. Lovely, attentive hosts (and pooches!) and the best cooked breakfast in South Wales! The building itself is a gorgeous, majestic old farmhouse surrounded by picturesque countryside and rolling hills and the b&b has everything... More
