I have seen one or two negative reviews about this hotel but my impressions are contrary to those. I found a typical Travelodge with a clean, comfortable room and very acceptable food in the restaurant. It's not a palatial four-star place but it doesn't pretend to be. I would happily stay here again. More

We had 2 rooms booked for 3 adults and 3 kids. Check in was faultless - what pleasant staff. Rooms were warm, spacious and clean. We didn't stay for breakfast but went to Cote Brasserie (5 mins walk away) which was £25 for 3 adults and 3 kids and was delicious. Don't try the Norwegian Church for breakfast - rubbish... More

This hotel is pretty faultless. The location is excellent as it is a 20minute minute walk to the centre and 5-10minutes to the Quayside with loads of restuarants. Had a great stay will return. Staff very nice & helpful. Rooms are very clean & it's situated close to Cardiff bay & the city centre which is great. Also bowling & cinema just outside. More

Paid 30 a room which isn't bad for Christmas time. For a travelodge it is really good, clean, rooms ok decent bar and staff very good. Dragon centre next door so lots of places to eat and drink. Short taxi to city. Overall very good value More
