Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Filthy, disgusting apartment !! Stained carpets, dirty walls, excessive dust on sockets, plugs but more so headboard !! Unusable pots, chipped glass tables, poo in toilet, filthy toilets, mould bathroom and kitchen, limescale outside kettle, the list goes on...... after contacting them twice they sent out a duty manager, to be told they are undergoing refubishment, so where is that information when advertising. And sorry but an apology does not wash it. You mis sold us this apartment saying it was home from home and comfortable. It is a disgrace that you could put people in this unhealthy, unfit for human habitation so called apartment. I have asked for details of someone I can make a complaint to, getting nowhere !! I am more than unhappy I am angry and disgusted that we have paid the same money as someone in one of your refurbished apartments and did not book this. No apology is going to help here. £490 to live like this for 5 days, you wouldn't move us or offer refund !! I will be taking this further as no one should be treated like this. It is simply shocking !! I have so many photos but can only put 10 on here !!

Please avoid if you have kids. Dirty unclean and health and safety risk for kids. Level 4 with a toddler and windows that open up wide with no safety guard and patio doors that don’t lock. When I called I was told I’d have to wait until the morning I stated should I hope and pray my son doesn’t fall out the window or walk out the patio doors then ? Her reply was well we can’t do anything until the morning when we open back up. * The TV didn’t work. * Kitchen covered in spiders web and nest. * The bathroom mirror had lipstick kissed on it (so cleaner has clearly ‘it even cleaned or checked it) * Windows were filthy. * Skirting boards broken and worn. *electrical wires hanging loose During COVID I’d expect a higher level of cleaning so I’d hate to see what this was like prior. Please don’t waste your money. This was booked via hotels.com which I’m sure they would be appalled to know they support such a place.

Have just returned home from a very pleasant 3 night stay here. Apartment was fantastic for what we needed and advice or help was at hand via txt or phone if needed. Also handy use of the swimming pool and parking space provided. Will definitely stay here again!

The apartments are good but NSGL Ltd operate the car parking. We paid to park our vehicle but our parking spot was taken so we parked our vehicle in a visitor spot. We then received a ticket for parking in the wrong space. If we had not left the parking ticket on the dash to show we had paid it would have been ok because we would be ok in a visitors place. We were asked to appeal to POPLA. They turned down our appeal so it seems that common sense does not prevail. We were fined £40 after originally paying £30 to park. This then went up to £80 because we appealed! It seems NSGL Ltd and POPLA work together to stitch you up and show no level of understanding. If you don't pay the fine they then affect your vehicle by reporting it on HPI. Please be careful when you rent on this site NSGL Ltd show no understanding of customer service and will not listen to reason.

Well just the attention to basic detail would have made this a 10/10. Who in a serviced apartment with a fully functioning kitchen, fails to provide washing up liquid.... this one. Who places the toilet roll on the side of the bath, as there is not a toilet roll holder ...... this one. Two TV’s one ‘smart’ one via an aerial. The ‘smart’ connection was via the apartment Wi-Fi (free) at a sonic 3M but average 1.5M measured thrice, the bedroom TV was provided without a handleld. 😦 Assigned Car parking in the underground car park with access to the lift at 10GPB per day, expensive but on road parking non existent on Dumballs Rd. Bed comfy, pillow very very ‘full’ no soft or firm option. Kitchen well appointed and provided (apart from no washing up liquid) not a fan of touch activated hobs this one seemed to function OK. Windows opened, Vertical Blinds lacked the ability to vary their angle. Only fully closed or pulled back, the cord ŵas missing on both blinds. Compare this to a hotel room, I’d still opt for the service apartment, even this one.

We have used a Space in the City's Century Wharf Apartments for around 6 years now. I have always found the quality and standards of the apartments to be excellent, and accurately reflective of the descriptions on their website. There was a small issue arose prior to our arrival this year, which Stephanie from the Guest Services Team resolved swiftly and professionally . The apartments themselves represent great value for money allowing you space and freedom to relax that you often don't find in hotels. I won't hesitate to use or recommend A Space in the City or Century Wharf Apartments in the future.

Stayed in a 1 bed apartment for 2 nights. It had just had a full refurb and was very nice, everything we needed for our stay, apart from a dishwasher. The issues that we had was the fridge was very noisy so we had to turn it off in the night, the boiler made a loud dripping noise from 2am-4:30am so didn’t get a good nights sleep on the Friday, we also had no hot water Saturday at about 4am, luckily I had a nice hot shower before my husband had his shower at 4pm. Brilliant location for walking to Cardiff centre or the Bay. Excellent check in and parking. We went out in the car a couple of times and no one took our space thankfully.

\having paided £10 per day for a carparking space, I arrived back this afternoon on a very tight schedule, wanting to park my car and then catch a bus to the centre of Cardiff, to discover someone parked in my designatedparking space. When the driver of the other car came back to unload, it turned out that he had been allocated my parking space -and was not prepared to move. THis involved me having to go back to my apartment, call the office. They apologised -but that wasn't enough. We had to stay in until a representative could come to the apartment to allocate another space - to me, who had been parking in that space for two days! As it was, our last afternoon in Cardiff was spoiled because we arrived too late to get into the museum we had planned to visit. A very poor show from this compsny!
