“Very welcoming, great service and good food.”

Spent a very enjoyable 5 nights here. Staff couldn't have been more friendly. Very clean room with a nice turn down service at night as well. Good breakfast and dinner choices were great. No complaints at all...will be back!

We have just spent a really enjoyable couple of days at the Great House Hotel. We arrived lateish on Friday evening to be met with a warm welcome and a really comfortable bed. Fantastic welcome from Samara and upgrade to a suite 'Dovecote' - very comfortable. Immedicate local area not that attractive, but plenty to see (walking/driving/cycling) close by. Bathrobes in the suites are usually on quilted hangers, either in the wardrobes or in the bathroom, most rooms have space for wash bags, make-up etc on vanity bathroom units. Hope to see you soon. “One night stay”

Stayed here for only one night as we were attending rugby at Cardiff, although the result was not what we wanted with the Welsh thrashing us !!!! The Hotel was a comfortable ending to a sad day. I would definitely stay here if in the area again as I found the facilities and cleanliness excellent and the staff very friendly.

Sorry about the rugby result but glad you had fun and enjoyed your stay with us. There's always the next game to win! More
