If it's a secluded break in glorious scenery (at the foot of the Brecon Beacons mountain range) in a large but warm and friendly Edwardian house then Dan yfan is the place for you. Perfect as base camp for hiking and biking and what better way to relax after a hard days walking in front of open fires or in... More

We had a lovely weekend and were very well looked after. Steve and Emma are great hosts and (in our opinion) have the balance just right between spending time with the guests and providing time for guests to be by themselves. Excellent breakfasts with e few beers an G and Ts thrown in (Nick and Richard particularly keen on the... More

I stayed at Danyfan Brecon as part of a Yoga long weekend. The house is absolutely beautiful and we felt at home right away. Emma and Stevie made us feel right at home with a G&T (with the local gin) and soon we were eating the first of many absolutely beautiful home cooked meals. I can't emphasize enough how lovely... I just ran a long weekend yoga retreat at Danyfan. It was so perfect. The cosy rooms looking up at the mountains of Brecon Beacon National Park and the delicious food cooked by Stevie. Emma making sure everyone had a Gin and Tonic or glass of wine with some home cooked canapes by the fire before dinner. Doing yoga in... More

Thanks to Emma, Steve (and Judy the dog!) for making our stay in Brecon so pleasant. The house is still under going transformation in parts which others have also commented on, but this didn't impact on our stay at all. We were in room 2 which was nice, traditional style fittings to the bathroom. We were made to feel very... More

It's Emma and Steve's first year of running a B&B and they have done a remarkable job setting Danyfan up. They are both very friendly and in a lovely way it really feels you are being welcomed into their home. The room was very comfortable and elegantly decorated. We were fortunate enough to be getting evening meals as part of... More

We had a lovely couple of nights stay last weekend. Breakfast was great. Still some work to be done to the house etc but think it will just improve with this. Emma and Stevie were very laid back and welcoming. We didn't try an evening meal as we weren't organised enough. Rode the Gap Road which is easily accessable from... More

Danyfan is hosted by Emma and Steve, who are both lovely. My room was spacious and had thee most comfortable bed. Dinner was great, but the dessert even better - it was a twist on an Eaton Mess and just tasted the business. The location of Danyfan is very tranquil and simply beautiful, I wish I'd had more time. Breakfast... More

Dan y Fan B&B has just opened outside of Brecon. We were luck to be some of the first visitors. Our stay was wonderful. Owners Emma and Stevie were so accommodating after a long day of hiking in the hills. We are both vegetarian, and they whipped us up a wonderful dinner which we ate by candlelight. Our room was...
