Two minutes from the ferry in Holyhead, and total care and comfort exceeding all B&B standards - it's all been said by other people, and it's all true ! We stayed here two years ago when we last went to the Punchestown Festival in Ireland, and it was exactly the same then - we wrote in the book that we'd... More

One night stay before going for the ferry. Excellent location for the port. We arrived at 11.30pm and there was someone at the door to greet us. Room basic but clean and large with a cot provided for our baby. Good selection at breakfast. Staff very friendly. On the down side there was no parking at the property, roadside only,... More

Extremely clean, comfortable, hospitable and accommodating, whether arriving by late ferry or stopping before crossing the Irish Sea to Dublin. I stayed with my senior father on a family history holiday and I can't imagine anyone being less than completely satisfied at this B&B. Modern building has 7 rooms for families or singles, only 1 minute walk from large public... More

We stayed at Monravon overnight before catching the early ferry to Ireland. It's quite close to the ferry port which suited us but has a limited space for car parking on the premises - two at most - otherwise there is on-street parking directly outside. The Monravon is a very clean and welcoming bed and breakfast and, for the price,... More

We stayed here after being kindly directed from the Boathouse by the marina which was full. We were 4, myself, wife and two boys. Very friendly owners. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Great breakfast included. Highly recommended. Wills family, Columbia Missouri USA.

Excellent place to stay while waiting for the ferry. Hostess was fantastic: friendly, helpful, good advice, called taxi for us. There is a computer in the guest TV lounge for guests to use for FREE! Very clean and quiet place. Definitely recommend.

Have stayed here a few times now, the main reason being the owners are very accommodating about very late check-in and very early check-out times. Not the most elegant of places, nor do you always have toiletries available in your room. Continental breakfast is good and generous but if you want a cooked breakfast this needs to be ordered the... I stayed here for work recently, for one night, and was very happy with experience. Let's be clear: this is not a luxurious place, but it's an excellent, modest B&B. Very comfortable room and bed, great shower, the cleanest bathroom in Great Britain, and quiet. Monravon really has no faults. Recommended.
