We recently returned from our third stay with John and Heather at Glasgwm ; each visit has been an unalloyed pleasure: every one of the three different bedrooms in which we have now stayed has original ( but not pretentious) Victorian/ Edwardian fixtures and fittings - completely in character with the house itself ,and the rooms unfailingly comfortable, warm and... I have stayed in Glasgwm B&B several times and all those stays lasted at least 10 days each. If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming and cosy place to stay, this is the location to go to. During all my stays John and Heather made me feel extremely welcome and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.... More

The day we stayed at Glasgwm B&B was one of our wettest days on the Offa's Dyke path. So we were delighted to see John arrive in his Citroen Berlingo to collect us from the meeting point at the bottom of Castell Dinas Bran. Both he and Heather were really lovely people - very easy to get on with and... More

John and Heather made us very welcome, and John showed a knack for anticipating your needs before you did. That's hospitality of a very high order. We were on a walking holiday on Offa's Dyke, and felt very welcome at Glasgwm, finding it a good place to have a break for a day's relaxation before continuing our walk. The room... More

My husband, college-age son and I stayed at the Glasgwm B&B for 1 night last month. It is located on a street with many B&B and no street parking. As there appear to be no address numbers on the houses, we drove right past it and had to find a place to turn around and go back. Somehow they were... More

My wife and I stayed here while walking Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke and had an outstanding experience. John picked us up near Castell Dinas Bran and was incredibly welcoming from the start. The room was _gorgeous_ and really comfortable, and the dinner he cooked was excellent. Among the many things to like about Glas Gwm is the sitting room,... More

We stayed here in June 2012. This is the second time we had stayed in the guest house which is a large old Victorian house and is decorated as such, but it is very functional with all you can expect from an en suite B&B. The couple who run it are very friendly and the breakfasts are excellent! It is... More

Stayed overnight here (23/6/2012) & for me this accommodation represents great value for money. At £37 for their single room (that has a huge bath instead of a shower) that's very competitive for a place that can be far from cheap to stay. What stands out straight away is 'the quirky' nature of this B&B with an array of books,... More

Stayed here while walking Offa's dyke path. We had a large comfortable room in this Victorian house, with a small ensuite shower room. Tea and cake on arrival was most welcome with a pleasant breakfast the following day. Recommendation for dinner was perfect.

John and Heather made us very welcome in their Victorian B and B which is a short stroll from the centre of Llangollen. There is a guest lounge (TV a little on the small side) and we shared a twin room at the front of the house. Our hosts were very attentive and served us a good cooked breakfast the... More
