The druid inn is a superb place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble and the standards of everything from welcome to beer are excellent. The old inn has loads of character with excellent beers. The food is outstanding. Only stayed one night but we will be back. We could not fault anything.

We've been to the druid many times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The food is always spot on with a varied choice. The location is also stunning, during the summer you can waste hours sitting outside enjoying the scenery over a glass of wine! I would definitely recommend a visit.

We needed a base for a couple of nights while my son was attending a course at the nearby Kingswood Colomendy. We booked the family flat and other than knowing it had two bedrooms, we didn't really know what to expect. We arrived much earlier than check-in time because we had to drop my son off earlier - but as... More

I stayed at the Druid Inn with my wife for one night, whlist I was walking the Offa's Dyke Path. My wife was driving and arrived early, but after the time for checking in. She phoned the licencee, who said no problem just check in when you arrive. A great start to our overnight stay, the room was lovely, the... More

We booked this at the last minute online and really had no idea what it would be like. I'm pleased to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The greeting was very warm and genuine interest was shown in where we were from and what we were doing. The room was comfortable and had plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom... More

Doing the Offa's Dyke Walk and arrived soaking wet - the owners dried our clothing and shoes in the laundry room and took us to the point on the walk where we left it. Evening meal was superb - the Cheese Ploughmans was particularly excellent. Breakfast was excellent and the packed lunches the best yet Great stay for walkers -... More

We booked on line without any idea what we were going to find. This is a non pretentious, road side, 'pub with rooms' and what we enjoyed most was the warmth of the welcome. We were surprised at the size of the menu. The owners were lovely - and if we were to pass by this way again we would be... More
