We stayed here with our two young children, we didnt know what to expect from the hotel but as it is a budget hotel we suspected it would be basic. Before arriving we rang and asked for a top floor room and was really happy to see when we arrived that we also had a view of the castle. Room... More

Easy parking in the multi-storey car park next door. Great location handy for shops / restaurants and castle. Friendly welcoming staff on reception and on the bar. Then everything went down hill with Dirty Cutlery, Sticky Tables andStains on carpet and furniture need I say more

Stayed here for the weekend, great location, could not ask for better location. Basic rooms. Very loud at night due to near by bars and clubs. In the morning as well lots of noise from people staying in hotel and kids running up and down, no consideration for guests that may be sleeping. This started from 7am.

We had a bargain weekend 2 night stay for £30. We are a family of 4, our children aged 3 and 18 months. We were after a base to stay while we visited Legoland and Chessington World of Adventure and this was the ideal location. It is good value for money and Central for Windsor Town Centre. Negative Points: £12... More

Avoid the rooms on the railway side - continuous noise late night and well into the morning - (5th floor) - breakfast very basic and if like us you are down early then the bread needs to go through the toaster 3 or 4 times as the tired machine slowly heats up. The hotel was very convenient located !

a standard travelodge rooms are basic but adequate the first night was a real nightmare with a group of very inconsiderate /drunk yobs who spent most of the night charging up and down the corridor shouting out to each other and hammering on doors -including mine -demanding to be let in which as I was alone in my room was... So, it's in the centre of Windsor, five minutes walk to the castle and a reasonable choice of restaurants in the vicinity, but when we arrived, the reception was barely adequate and we were allocated a family room on the sixth floor which had been "cleaned" and the windows left open, so it was full of flies and mosquitoes. So,... More

First time I've stayed in a Travelodge and will be the last. Room noisy, bed/mattress and linen in a poor condition, cleanliness poor, carpets stained, shower head broken and roller blind fitted to window which lets in plenty of light ..... so be prepared to wake early. My advice would be to find somewhere else to stay. Staff helpfull and... More

The staff were lovely, they tried to help as best they could. However, the building lets them down. You have a choice front or back. At the rear you do not sleep until 5am due to night club (Friday night) and at the front you just have to cope with the internal doors slamming. One guest supplied his own blue... More
