Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our ground floor room was extremely clean and large and had a private courtyard beyond which there were beautiful gardens with ducks and a pond. Cricket Field House isn't central, but for that, the service is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. It's easier if you have your own car, but if you don't, there's also a "Park and Ride" service nearby you can use to get to and from the centre.

We stayed here for one night as a last minute get away and what a pleasant surprise. Warm welcome, lovely room and fabulous breakfast. We had everything you could want for a relaxing break. Would highly recommend the Cricket Field House Hotel.
