We stayed here just one night, and were the only two in a 3-person room, so we got lucky with that. My husband thought the beds were too short, but I didn't think it was an issue. The hostel is set in a beautiful location, and it's a 5-minute walk from town centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly.... More

Pending review “My first (and second) Stonehenge experience” I've actually been a guest in this hostel twice. Two years ago, as a first-time England "visitor" (I used to work as a baby-sitter), one of the destinations that poped in my head was, not at all out of the ordinary, Stonehenge. So I've checked and I've booked on the internet and... More

Hotel choice was made by relatives. This is like the Holiday Inn or Embassy Suites you have in the US. The rooms were basic but inexpensive, clean and quiet and breakfast was offered as part of the rate quote. You can also book with no breakfast but the location is a bit out of the way so ... for an... More

I stayed for one night and was lucky to get the only single room. It was very small but did include a washbasin. My room was really quiet and I had a great night’s sleep. I didn't use the self catering kitchen or the restaurant. The hostel is comfortable but a bit tatty in places. It is less than a... More

I spent one night at this hostel and found it to be average. The male staff member that I dealt with was friendly, even offering to make me a bagged breakfast when I said that I had to leave early the next morning. He was very patient when dealing with an upset guest who didn't have strong english skills. The... More

I stayed for one night in a single room as I had a friend's wedding that day. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. I checked in with no problems and left my things in my room. The room, although rather small, was very suitable. It had a sink (great for some water when I got back late... More

I had a two night stay in a dorm room at this YHA and was impressed. The staff are more than happy to have a beer with you and give tips on where the best places in the town to go are (other than Stonehenge obviously...). The breakfast included in the room price was an added bonus although the bar... More

It's been many years since I have used hostel's but a bargain rate of £10 per night including breakfast was hard to overlook (even if it meant sharing a room with 11 others!). The YHA Hostel is in a nice quiet building around 10 minutes walk from the center of Salisbury. About 5 mins from the Coach station and 15... More

This hostel was in a great location. Close to the center of town for groceries, sites, and resturants. Has very nice signs leading you to the hostel. Rooms are clean, but could use a remodel...especially the carpet. This is a great place to stay to explore stonehenge and the Salisbury Cathedral. More
