This was a return visit meeting old friends and buying them an excellent meal. That is what we expected but what we received was very poor service and ordinary food. No longer worth going here. More

The high-traffic, main-road location and pavement overspill of scruffy smokers does the Nag's Head no favours. Entering via the big-screen, lager-dispensing bar (much shouting - the Calcutta Cup was on) caused my heart to sink further.
