We stayed at the Nags for one night. It is well positioned to explore Chichester and there is parking at the rear which is free 6pm-8am (if you can get a space). The room was small and very warm and pretty basic but served a purpose. It's by no means a hotel but offered a reasonable enough stay for a... More

Our secnd trip to the Nags Head. Very well situated, in alively part of chichester, close to the town centre, and a ten-minute walk to the theatre. Our room and bathroom were small, but spotlessly clean, although the bathroom could have done with a lookover by manageent, in that the shower screen leaked, the lavatory seat wouldn't stay up, and... Was recommended to us by friends so we booked for one night getaway. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night & booked again for end of June with our friends. The only disappointment was no cooked breakfast or evening meals because of the recent kitchen fire but we look forward to staying when its all up & running... More

I wanted to take this pub back home with me, the staff are lovely , very friendly.and me and my friends had the best time . The rooms are spotless with everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities, lovely clean bathroom with toiletries and fluffy large towels. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment but from the amount of... More

The Nags Head is one of the best places we have stayed. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food was exquisite!! The staff are friendly and helpful. The local area has every shop you can think of...and is a very beautiful town. Our only grouch is the parking!!! The Pub doesn't have its own parking and the nearest... More

If you are on a diet DO NOT stay at this hotel! The breakfasts are superb and the evening meals (especially the carvery........Go for the beef!.........out of this world!!. The rooms are smallish but very clean including the bathroom.........big towels. Try to avoid a room on the main road. A bit noisy but that was the only downside with the... More

Stayed here for a weekend in January with my boyfriend. 5/10 min walk from train station, arrived and were checked in quickly and helped to the room with our bags. The room and bathroom was lovely, clean, nicely decorated and a really comfy bed. All the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a... More

Friendly reception. Very busy bar (but it was Christmas party season). First room was quite small, at the back (over the fire escapes) and right over the restaurent. We changed to one on the same side but further away from the restaurant. Comfortable room but shower didn't work. Staff very helpful and gave us the key to a vacant room... More

This was a return visit meeting old friends and buying them an excellent meal. That is what we expected but what we received was very poor service and ordinary food. No longer worth going here. More

The high-traffic, main-road location and pavement overspill of scruffy smokers does the Nag's Head no favours. Entering via the big-screen, lager-dispensing bar (much shouting - the Calcutta Cup was on) caused my heart to sink further. However the staff were competent and the rooms very much better than had seemed possible. They are of recent build and are kept clean.... More
