We stayed here due to travelling for a football match... Was ok not great but not terrible. I used the swimming pool and facilities which were again ok. Not luxury. Rooms were ok, was a nice surprise to have a spa bath in our room. Overall hotel is ok the rooms need abit of a re vamp.

Nothing was quite up to standard. Everything was there but drastically ready for smartening up. Staff were ok but definitely not of the friendly nature. we stayed at the Britannia for a wedding else where. the staff were all very friendly, the foyer is welcoming , the bedrooms however are very vey tired and need a revamps. sheets and towels clean as expected our friends on tje 4th floor were in a newish room which were much better. if you just want a cheap bed... Oh dear, Britannia what a let down. We have stayed in your hotels in most major cities but Coventry is by far the worst. The staff at the Britannia Coventry are so friendly and hardworking. The problem is the rooms do need a revamp and a good maintenance person employed full time to keep them up to standard. The Britannia Hotel is a bit dated now and the rooms need a revamp. However it is really well located right in the City centre. The staff were very friendly so no complaints there. The lifts are a bit slow if I was a bit lower down I would have walked. I would say i had value.
