We visited Simpsons for a friends 50th birthday. All I can say about Simpsons is that it was OUTSTANDING! Everything from the moment we walked in was absolutely great. The staff were all very pleasant and nothing was a problem. We booked a table for 1pm and were shown to the lounge area 1st for drinks, we were not rushed... More

My husband and I brought our family here here to celebrate our Daughters graduation and we were not disappointed. We all agreed it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten and it certainly lived up to its Michelin star rating. Everything scored 10/10, the food ,presentation, service and the atmosphere, although the lounge was a little pokey for pre... More

The food was wonderful but the waiters only ever spoke to my husband, never acknowledging my presence even! It was also very rowdy in the restaurant, which was surprising & not conducive to romance. The room was beautiful & very comfortable, but all night people were running up & down the stairs which were outside our room so we had... More

Having taken 4 people to Simpsons for lunch the other Suday as a birthday celebration I was again delighted by the service and food. To my mind haveing eaten at all the starred establishments in Birmingham (and those on their way to a Michlin star) Simpsons remains at the top of the list The atmosphere is spot on being both... I went with my wife for lunch as a birthday treat, and therefore can't comment on the hotel side of Simpsons. The set lunch at £30 a head including a half bottle of house wine (poured from a full bottle and generously interpreted) was difficult to fault and isn't expensive for cooking of this standard. Our table was in the... More

Wow what can I say...I took my partner to simpsons for his birthday and I could not fault one single detail. Staff were fantastic, I really loved the fact they explained all of the dishes to us and could not be more helpful. The food was just heavenly everything was cooked to perfection. Yes it was expensive but was worth... More

We ate at Simpsons last night based on the good reviews. The food was absolutely excellent. OUr favourite restaurant is Le Manoir in Oxford and the food at Simpsons was on a par. The only thing that let the evening down slightly was the quality of the service. Staff were very polite but so rushed! No sooner had we finished... More

Dining at Simpsons for the second time in the last few weeks I had decided I would combine the pleasure of an excellent meal with the pleasure of being able to go to bed with no worries about the amount of alcohol I had drunk or having to drive 30 miles home on a very cold December night. So after... More
