I booked this hotel for cricket match, infant stayed two nights , I was worried given the reviews but all my worries were unfounded. At the price quoted, I can't fault it at all, spacious safe car park, well manicured lawns at back and good English breakfast , can't fault it at all, room was clean, tiolet and bathroom was... More

We went to this hotel around end of November start of December 2012. The hotel was pleasant, the staff were friendly and the room was clean. It's not far from Broad street if you enjoy clubbing etc. It was a little too far out of town. However we did go to a restaurant called TGI Fridays, the pricing is reasonable.... More

Booked in on a remarkable cheap deal. The room was clean and the service was very good. Decided to eat in their restaurant and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. Not a vast menu, it was true but, it was very good never the less. Will certainly use it again.

decent cheap hotel with a better than average restaurant and bar for its class. Not particularly accessible for anyone with more than minor accessibility challenges. Hotel insists on copy of photo ID as well as credit card details; makes you wonder who stays there. Rooms and decent sized for the price. Good walk or quick bus ride to city centre... More

Stayed for one night on Friday. We were met by the police at reception looking for someone but this is not the hotels fault. Check in was quick, we had a room right at the back, it was small but clean. We did not have breakfast so can't comment. Stay here for one night, not much longer though.

Ok this is a 3* hotel, definitely not a palace but for the price of £33 a night i cannot really fault the place. Very big spacious room, clean bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. I would not pay more than £50 for this hotel in a busy period. We had problem with our shower they fixed it straight away,... More

If I had belived the reviews this Hotel had on Trip Advisor I would have never booked it.It strikes me as some people want to moan, some want to pay 2 star and exspect 5 star and some reports have been sent by 'other' hotels. I used the Edgbaston for a business stay last Friday.Caught up on M^ I was late... More

The staff are unhelpful and unfriendly, absolutely disgusted with the service we received. We were 30 mins late to check out and the manager threatened to call the police!!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under 25 and to anyone that doesn't drive as its further from the centre than I thought.
