Second stay here. Well looked after. Breakfast excellent and this time had the opportunity to sample the excellent real ales in the bar! Excellent location for sightseeing Warwick and surrounding area.

We've just come back from a lovely sunny weekend in Warwick, where we stayed at the Old Fourpenny shop hotel. We had a great time - they're very welcoming and the breakfast is fantastic! We had one of the chalet type rooms at the back of the hotel and found it to be a good size, with ensuite shower room... More

I researched and booked this on my own. It's an Inn, with rooms to let for short term stays. It's walking distance from the bus depot, one block away. The accommodations include free WiFi in the rooms (I had some accommodations elsewhere that you had to go to the lobby or bar to use your computer, so always ask when... More

We used the hotel this week-end for a function (a craft workshop for a hen party) and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable. They served us tea and coffee and a large plate of chocolate biscuits which went down very well! The pub was busy and seems to prove popular with tourists and locals alike. Thank you for... More

We spent just one night at the hotel and were very pleased with the chalet room we were in, very comfortable, extremely clean with tea, coffee and a good TV. The breakfast was superb, a full english including black pudding, fruit juice and cereal was also available along with toast and marmalade as well. Quiet area just off the town... More

We stayed in this hotel on a Saturday evening with a group of friends. We were all booked into the local Lebanese restaurant (very good!) and needed somewhere 'simple' to stay within walking distance. The hotel is in a side street and it has a small carpark at the rear accessed via a narrow archway (watch your wing mirrors!). The... More

When in Warwick head for the Old Fourpenny Shop Hotel instead of staying right in the centre which can get noisy of an evening. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, including an Indian 50 yards away and the Hotel has several good ales to choose from along with live music evenings. Rooms are comfortable and traditional with a hearty breakfast.... More

Took extended family to the races (7 adults + 4 children) and we popped into a vey busy fourpenny for lunch. Manager went out of his way to get us sorted and fed before the races started despite being run off his feet and having the back room booked for a private party. Great beers and very good pub grub.... More
