We stayed here for a night away. Although not a hotel, it is a very pleasant B&B. Its a lovely building with very welcoming hosts. The room was very nicely presented and clean. Its location is a little out of the way from Stratford and Warwick but this didnt bother us. It is however adjacent to a very busy main... More

It’s not exactly an hotel, but rather a family-run B&B. Anyway, our room was smart and well equipped, with a clean and large bathroom (as Italians, we appreciated the mixer tap, so difficult to be found in England!). Also the location – in a quiet zone very close to Warwick city centre - is very good. More

A gorgeous building, with good dining recommendations. This is a hotel for people traveling by car. It's way out, which makes it a little inconvenient. The taxi drivers had a hard time finding it. Not a lot of amenities and you are not allowed to eat or drink in your room. The TV in our room was one of the... More

We stayed at The Old Rectory for 2 nights and over the weekend. It is ideally located for visiting Stratford - Upon - Avon and Warwick. We stayed in the Shaespeare Suite and the 4 poster bed not only looked great but was also very comfortable. The spa bath was also very relaxing. The building is full of character due... More

Chris and Christine are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. It's more a B&B than a hotel but the place is brimming with character and charm as befits it's age and history. We're planning to go back next summer. More

I stayed at the Old Rectory whilst on business in nearby Warwick and found it absolutely delightful. It is very much a B & B, with no evening meals available, but there is a comfortable lounge with a selection of books and an 'honesty bar'. How often do you find that? The Old Rectory is run by Christine and Chris... More

We chose this 'hotel' for our first anniversary. It's not a hotel, just a B&B. The suites are just rooms with four poster beds. Don't bother with the cooked breakfast, although nice enough 1 sausage, 2 bacon, 1 egg, 2 small mushrooms and half a raw tomato is not worth the extra £9.95 each. The service provided by Christine was... More

Beware this lodge although nice and quaint comes with a sting in the tail. The lodge is not advertised as a non smoker and there are prior warnings and no signs in the room to this effect. My wife not finding an ashtray went to the bathroom opened a window and had a cigarette. We were fined £50 by the... More
