We stayed in our tourer, the site is lovely but found couple of staff very rude to us. We enjoyed the river taxi into Stratford, site was clean and pitches large. peaceful and quiet revamping club house so they have temporary marquee in place

We stayed in a two bedroom lodge right on the river Avon edge. It was very quiet and peaceful with good views from the floor to floor windows. we stayed overnight on 13th April 2013. The site was in a lovely spot and the wardens were friendly and helpful, explaining the facilities (including the legendary 99p cooked breakfast) and transport (the river taxi is a must and runs every 30 mins from the site into town). Like everyone else I thought the rules were overwhelming. No taxis allowed on site due to health and safety...............health and safety?? This one from the local police for goodness sake. They make a big deal of the 99p breakfast however the cafe is a caravan and when busy the fried food smell is overwhelming and guess what lots of rules... More

It's a nice site with friendly staff and a lovely £0.99p breakie. However they shouldn't be charging an extra £10 at the moment for the river view pitches because there's a construction site next to you and noise all day. Not worth it.
