Stayed in room three which another reviewer says is one of the bigger ones, and its fine, but very cramped down the sides of the bed. Was not keen on the pillows/bricks. Great shower however. Breakfast was OK but not a lot of it. Lovely staff. More

I booked this hotel as a treat for my partners birthday. On arriving i was greeted by Tim who seemed very nice. We were shown where to park around the back which was great. Tim helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. On entering room 1 we were very very dissapointed as the size of it... More

Easy to find and close enough to walk to all attractions. Great B & B with comfortable beds and ample room to open your case. Thankyou to Tim for all the information regarding places to see and where to eat. Breakfast was fantastic with ample food provided. Parking is also provided close by and big enough for a 9 seater... My Wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this delightful B&B for several nights earlier this month. I just had to leave the highest praise for the Owner Tim who welcomed us and indeed looked after us so well during our stay. He recommended some great places to eat, and sights to see . He also personally cooked... More

My wife and I stayed at the Virginia lodge for three nights. We were met by Tim who was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very clean and reasonably sized. Breakfasts were ample and well cooked with good vegetarian options. The B and B is within easy walking distance of the town centre (under 10... More

This b&b is in an excellent location for visiting all the Shakespeare properties and going to the theatre. The owner Tim was really helpful with his advice about where to go first. I did not have an ensuite room -the private bathroom was just down the corridor. the breakfast was well cooked and guest were asked to make their selection... More

I stayed here as I'd booked to see shows on consecutive nights at the RSC. With that being my reason for the visit I chose the Virginia Lodge for its location and free parking. The parking is shared with a number of other guest houses on the same terrace at the rear of the properties, but all spaces are clearly... More

My friend and I had a pleasant girls break and a 2 night stay. We were made to feel welcome and were helped with our cases up and down a very narrow stairway which lead to our top floor bedroom. The only two slightly down points were the noise from the pipe in the en-suite every time one used and... More
