Stayed for just one night prior to a football match. Good Leisure facilities. Large renovated bedrooms with excellent bathrooms and seperate toilet. Nice warm hotel on a very snowy day.Good breakfasts and overall good value for money.

One day conference with a great lunch. Staff most obliging an friendly. Room suited all needs and breakout space for refreshments was at the side with restaurant around the corner. I stayed for night at this hotel on January 25th. Hotels do not normally welcome rugby teams, but the Novotel were pleased to see 22 15 year old players, coaches and supporters. We've never stayed in a Novotel, so I wasn't sure what to expect - we've stayed in ibis hotels, which are the cheaper brand of the chain, so it was nice to see that all of the good parts were maintained with extras added.

We stayed here for the Great North Run last year. The location is excellent for those flying in.The breakfast was great. As always the only rather annoying thing is the price hike because of the event. But this seems to be the norm everywhere! The guy's on the shuttle service are extremely friendly and helpful.

Situated away from the centre but with easy and frequent connections with the centre by way of the metro. Also close to the airport.
The rooms are traditional Novotel,sufficently spacious to incorporate a sofe, large double bed without being cramped and a decent bathroom.
The food both at breakfast and dinner was of a good standard and worth the cost...

We stayed here for 1 night in January as we got an excellent rate online.We didn't book breakfast online but were told at online check out we could pay £6.98 pp at the hotel. Stayed in the hotel 4th Jan 2012 Booked via telephone was not told that the hotel has a car parking charge now!!!
The hotel is OK has no style just a box type hotel but the rooms are very nice big and nice comfy beds I got a deal on the night paid extra for breakfast which was worth everty...

Many thanks for posting your review. In follow-up, all bedroom windows have been replaced at the end of last year. When the bedroom windows are closed, there is excellent sound-proofing which cuts out any external noisre and guarentees a great night's sleep. Looko forward to welcoming you back.
