A new experience, a decent hotel on a business trip. Be warned, no mobile phone coverage but that means no one can disturb you. Excellent evening meal and very good choice of refereshments. Well recommended.

Lavenham isn't too far to travel so we came here for afternoon tea as it was recommended. The village is a picture postcard and the Swan full of character. Inside the place is luxurious and very comfortable. The food was excellent the staff very attentive. Have to say that the quantity/quality of the food were well worth the money.

A truly Old English Inn, yes its has loads of timbered eaves walls and roof, lots of character, history,and helpful staff all make it feel special, only stayed one night it was £250 with dinner in the bistro and drinks. We spent our wedding anniversary at the Swan. We couldn't be more pleased. Our room was spacious and well- equipped. The dinner in the restaurant was superb, very high quality food, a most imaginative menu. The building itself is so quintessentially English, very historic and picturesque in a most delightful village with much to see. Heartily recommended.
