We had a lovely relaxing time in a splendid setting - The White Lion is beautifully situated on Aldeburgh's seafront and most rooms have sea views. The food was excellent and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The brasserie has a lovely relaxed feel and is tastefully furnished. Thank you all!

Enjoyed a 2 night stay with our honeymoon friends from 1973. We all said how kind, friendly and attentive the staff were. Clean comfortable bedrooms. We had a sea view. Wonderful time. Thoroughly recommend. We will certainly be going back. Food was excellent too.

The recent renovation has made a huge difference. Things are mostly right now and the staff are very attentive, but we found problems with some details. Nice room, clean and welcoming. Staff excellent, dining facilities extremely good and staff attentive. Shame about the view from bedroom window which was looking out onto other backs of buildings and windows.
