The staff here were very helpful and it is in a fantastic location for alton towers, breakfast was quick and easy, and was close to a pub for tea, and was perfect for a family of 5, and the room didnt even seem crowded . altogether a great place for a weekend break.

Although the staff were friendly and efficient this hotel is a little tired. Bar/dining room area was somewhat basic with old-fashioned decor. Booking was obviously for one female, but ended up in the room furthest away from main building, left me feeling vulnerable in a strange place on my own. Ideal for a short stay. Rooms are somewhat antiquated but extremely clean and everything is functional. Beds are very comfortable but could so with duvets rather than blankets. Beware of the cleaners they come early and burst in on your room when asleep - not good with a Sunday morning hangover!!
