I stayed with a friend, it was a lovely B&B so much to look at as you wandered through the house, even a library that had photo albums to peruse if you were interested in the owners history (very interesting) clean and tidy, we had a very small en suite shower room but it stated this clearly when we booked... We couldn't have chosen a nicer place to stay. The Hollies, like its owners, David and Joe, is full of charm and character. It is well-situated (a 2-minute drive to the Park & Ride for those who don't fancy the uphill walk from Bath!), has a lovely, secluded garden and is full of fascinating memorabilia. Add to this a comfy... More

We received a very warm welcome from David & Joe. They couldn't do enough to help us with directions and information about Bath. It took us about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Bath & a bit longer on the way back as it's uphill. We stayed in the English Room with a separate private bathroom. The house... More

David and Joh were the most gracious hosts we have encountered in our travels. They are helpful and very interesting. They were extremely understanding when we arrived very late and interrupted their dinner. The rooms are delightful and each is unique—full of their treasures. Breakfast was excellent. Tea was properly served—no tea bags. The jams and preserves are very tasty.... More

We booked this stay as a present for my Norwegian family and we were overwhelmed with the hospitality The hosts were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The B and B in itself was very comfortable and welcoming. I would recommend this to anyone and will certainly go back. thank you David and Joe!

stayed in the Indian room for 3 nights. Very small brm for 2 people, and the shower room is tiny. the hand basin is in th brm, not the shower/loo area which was a little annoying. Hosts were lovely and helpful, but their knowledge of local pubs for meals was a bit sketchy! the place has no street frontage, so... More

A very good b&b, with an own authentic style. Excellent atmosphere. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. Prima cooking, with passion. The rooms are well decorated. They sell self made marmalade. All excellent. Definitely the best b&b when we were in England. Walk from center Bath to the b&b is uphill (better take a taxi back, 5 minutes). Beautifull city.... More

My husband and I stayed in the Hollies last weekend, it was truly a lovely stay David and Jo were terrific hosts. This is a very clean house, in fact after leaving I feel I need to redecorate our bathroom at home. It was about a 15 minute walk into town which is slightly downhill not too bad. Breakfast was... It was towards the end of last year (2012) that we spent a long weekend in The Hollies whilst visiting Bath for the second time. Therefore, I have had time to reflect on our time spent at The Hollies. Although it was November, the welcome we received could not have been warmer and we slept in the interestingly decorated Chinese... More

It's the owners David and Jo's stylish and loved home. We stayed in the Chinese bedroom which overlooks the garden. A comfortable bed made all the difference after a day's exploring. The shower cubicle is fine for someone with a slim physic. A rather portly person might encounter a problem. The property was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. We enjoyed... More
