I stay in Bath frequently for business and I must say this has been one of the best stays I've had i a while. My room was clean and comfortable (I must stress how comfortable my bed was! I usually have real trouble sleeping in hotels, but no problems here!) Lovely building, good rates, and the staff were fantastic. Charming... More

This rating is for a refurbished superior room only, from what other residents said, the normal rooms are not so good, with some poor. The Superior Room only cost £10 more and was modern, large, clean, comfortable with good TV and large bathroom. The Hotel is supposed to be the oldest building in Bath and as such is rambling and... Evening dining is in shifts, which does not leave you any flexibility if you are going to be later than, in our case, 8pm the last shift. We also ate A la carte, which was available and advertised, but we had a forty minute wait, as priority was given to set meal diners. If you do not like set meals... More

Dear Godfrey R It was a surprise to see your comment about the restaurant as this is unusal. We serve on a first come first serve basis ,we dont serve our table dote menu first. We want you to enjoy your al carte menu and as we make this when the order is placed there can sometimes be a delay.... More

I have just spent a fab weekend in Bath with my Best friend to celebrate our 50th Birthdays. I booked this hotel as it had character and great views. It is a listed Hotel so expect it to be a little old fashioned and tired in places, but that adds to the character of the place. Staff friendly and helpful.... More

On first impressions the Lansdowne Grove Hotel looks fantastic, until you get in. The main areas are clean, but in need of decorating and new carpets. The bedrooms are well pst their sell by date, the carpet in our room was dirty and probably not survive a shampooing. The furniture is typical 80/90's and in need of replacing. The bathroom... More
