This hotel is in a great location... Walking distance to most attractions. This is the selling point!!!! The hotel itself is a little tired and could do with a revamp. But it is what it is.... Very charming all in all. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lift wasn't working on our arrival, but the receptionist offered to take... More

This hotel is absolutely adorable and in an amazing location! While yes my room was quite dated, it was a lot like visiting an older family member's home and quite comfortable. My room was quite as well which was great as I am a really light sleeper. You can walk from the hotel to the Roman baths in under 10... More

Lovely room, but radiators cold so had to borrow a fan heater which had to be kept on all day. If you want newspapers, its quicker to go across the road and buy them from the corner store. Lovely car park across the road from the hotel, but you need a second mortgage to pay for it. Super bathroom with... More

Really this could easily be a good hotel. Excellent location near the main attractions in the city centre, walking distance from Bath Spa train station and the park and ride buses. It is full of character and there were a lot of good points. Large room, clean comfortable beds, very well cooked breakfast, plenty of hot water and a very... More

The hotel is tired, the rooms need decorating but the location is perfect for a short stay in central Bath, on this occasion for the rugby. There is also a 24 hour car park just opposite for £12.50 a day which is a snip in central Bath. The room was warm even on a sunny April day so I wouldn't... More

As others have written, we were a little apprehensive about our weekend stay at Pratt's Hotel (a birthday gift), due to the many negative comments on this site. However, our experience was very positive. On arrival, the exterior of the hotel looked attractive, as part of a Georgian crescent. Our room was perfectly clean and warm and the beds very... More

huge bathroom no bath, paint peeling and wood splintered, toilet seat not attached and fell off. Dirty and musty not worth the money. On the plus side the staff were very nice and breakfast good value but i would def not stay here again, yuk yuk yuk.

While I agree with other reviews regarding the hotel showing its age, other aspects outweigh that deficit. Thankfully I did not know at the time that the Lift often got stuck between floors. The hotel is priced reasonably and is only about two blocks from the Bath Spa railroad station and two more blocks to the center of town. I... More

What a horrible old run down place this is. The only newish thing is the sign out the front. Needs a makeover. I understand the building is old but it is shabby. Pack light as there is not lift either but not many places in the UK have them anyway.
