We stayed here to be near to family for a special reason & what a fortunate choice we made. Friendly welcome & during our stay . Cleanliness was amazing & the choices at breakfast was excellent. Better here than at a hotel for overall value. More

On a four week trip throughout England we stayed at many B&Bs. None were better than Lindisfarne. The room was big and airy. Everything in the house was clean and bright. The breakfast was first class. The owner, John, was welcoming and informative. Warren & Brenda Austin, Perth, Western Australia More

My wife and I decided to enjoy a 'mini-moon' and travelled down to the South West of England to do some exploring. Our first stop was at the Lindisfarne Guest House in Bathampton situated just 2 miles from the Roman Baths in the centre of the beautiful city of Bath. We had spoken to John before arriving and he mentioned... More

We would like to thank Fay & John for a wonderful 2 night stay in Bath made so much more enjoyable by their kind hospitality. The room was immaculate very good facilities, even a tea towel. We felt we were staying with friends. Despite the fact they were going away themsleves on the day we left they still let us book... More

My friend and I were welcomed at the Lindisfarne B&B and were shown to both rooms which were immaculate with good facilities. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and we were made to feel at ease. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the options were varied. We could have eaten more but we did not want to appear too greedy!... More

I was visiting the UK from the USA and previous American friends had recommended Lindisfarne, I'm so glad that they did as we were made so very welcome right from the get-go. Thank you kindly for the wonderful breakfast Fay, and for the great humor John, we'll be back. More

Unfortunately this Guest House was the only negative exception on our recent trip to fantastic England. It did not live up to all the other wonderful Guest Houses we experienced during our 4 weeks in England. Everywhere we went the welcome was warm and friendly, as if we were friends or family. These facilities however were rather poor, barely running... More

Beautiful little guest house. John and Fay very friendly and extremely accommodating. Felt welcome as soon as we pulled up in the car. Lovely local pub down the hill by the riverside, had a great dinner. Without a doubt one of the cleanest and friendliest guest houses I have ever stayed in, in the UK. More

Just returned from a weekend trip to Lindisfarne Guest House, Bath and was delighted with the cleanliness, friendliness and quality of breakfast. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the owners even when I had an early start on check-out day the owner's were more than happy to cook an early breakfast for me, you don't get that everywhere. Thank... More

After reading all the reviews, you would think this place has to be pretty good. WRONG!!!! think again. Nothing is at it seems. You think that you are entitled to a full English breakfast because you paid for it- WRONG!!! Should you however be an English tradesman and have work to do in Bath - no problem.
