A nice clean and tidy hotel. Welcoming staff who come across as very interested in making sure the hotel is in good order and that guests are treated well. A nice breakfast. Very good value compared to other places in Ludlow. A good option if you need or want to stay in Ludlow.

Very welcoming.. Rooms clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and adequate supper for those who did not want to bother to venture into town. Nothing was too much trouble. Location perfect. Walking distance of town. Staff extremely obliging.

Good value hotel situated in gorgeous quiet location with lovely views of the Castle yet only a nice gentle 10 minute stroll into town. Friendly local staff, good breakfast using local ingredients and decent beers in the bar - all at a very reasonable price.

Well located for forays into the nearby sights, villages and castles. Great for walks into the countryside and by the River Teme. Hotel is small and functional. Serves a good breakfast and dinner. Rooms are basic but have all the required amenities. Pleasant and attentive staff.
