We stayed one night here en route from the east coast to Manchester on the Trans Pennine Trail. This is an ideal place for cyclists as Tony also runs the local cycle repair shop and he kindly repaired a puncture for us, allowing us to slope off round the corner and have a nice meal at the local pub instead...
