Cornerways Guest House was lovely. The room and en suite were very clean and comfortable, with a flat screen TV, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/kettle, thick fluffy towels and, best of all, high-speed wi-fi. Breakfast served in the bright cosy breakfast room was fresh and hot, giving a good start to the day. Carol was very considerate in helping me get over my... More

We had a lovely stay in "Cornerways Guest House" in Oxford. Everything was excellent: The room was furnished very nice and it was very tidy. The room and the bathroom was cleaned everyday and we got new towels. Carol Jeakings, the owner of the guest house, is a helpful, nice and lovely person. She prepares a very, very delicious breakfast:... More

I stayed at Cornerways Guest House from 30th August - 3rd September 2011. Cornerways offers great value for money. Well situated to central Oxford. Bus service close by or a easy 15 minute walk. Carol has a good knowledge of Oxford and is happy to pass that information on. My room was small but well appointed with lots of natural... More

Thankyou Carol for a lovely stay. Carol is friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room and bathroom was gorgeous and spotless. I missed vegemite for my toast and the next morning it appeared on the table. Robin had a major bithday and Carol presented him with an even nicer breakfast than the day before!. The location is great... More

We found this B&B through Tripadvisor and I have to say that the reviews were correct. This is a lovely place. The hostess was very friendly and helpful with information about sights in the area. The room was small but very clean. It is about a 20 minute walk into the center but along the way you can stop at... More

Very clean and pretty with the nicest and most helpful hostess/owners. Breakfast was wonderful. Just try to book a room a little further away from the street. The cleanliness though is top in my book! Would definitely stay again, wish we could stay longer. More

My husband and I took a short 2 night break to Oxford on May 9 and 10, selected Cornerways from the Tripadvisor sight after seeing the favourable reviews, and found it 100% lived up to the praise it had got. The location is great, a leisurely 20 min stroll into the city centre along the river, or direct frequent bus... More

I travel regulalry to Oxford on work trips and have stayed for a couple of nights in many of the B&Bs on Abingdon Road. The Cornerways Guest House is by far the best one I have stayed in. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is great. Although it's a bit of a... More

Spotlessly clean room & bath, huge, delicious breakfasts, and Carol could not have been more pleasant, helpful or understanding. We presented a bit of a special problem because we had come off the Queen Victoria with bad chest colds, but she put up with our coughing and wheezing and did what she could to make us feel better. Cornerways is... More
