Dirty , Uninterested staff and very noisy. Not very expensive though but feels dodgy and must feel intimidating for young females I am sure. The only good thing is the Wi Fi connection. I was there for 2 days only because I couldn't bear it. Need overhaul of staff and policies.

We stayed here despite all the poor reviews and it really wasn't that bad for a hostel. The staff we dealt with were all polite and helpful, everything was adequately clean, and the location is great. Main downside in our opinion is the lack of lockers in the rooms.

Ugh! This hostel is poorly run. From the disrespectful people who talk outside your room until extremely late, to the dirty bathrooms and uncomfortable beds. The walls are paper thin so you can hear every single word of the people outside in the hallway. Even though when checking in you have to sign a piece of paper with guidelines which... More

Before leaving we were told that the rooms were for max. 3 people. When we got there we were put in a room with 8 beds, two of which occupied by strangers. The room was 3x2m and there was nothing were to store our stuff. Not only the room was small, but it was also dirty, and in the shared... More

You would think from travelling around India and Thailand backpacking, I would have a high tolerance for all calamity and see the humour in hostel antics- alas this place really tops the polls as a noisy, dirty, non managed Dump. If you have any sense you would not rock up here and stay or being a sensible pre-book on line... More

I had to move to Oxford very quickly and I didn't have a place to stay. so I decided for that hostel which also offers discount-rates for long stays. The hostel is very close to the city center and 2 minutes walking from the bus station, it is not too big and not too small and the rooms are nice... More

This hostel should be avoided at all costs. The staff are disgustingly rude, slovenly, and completely untrained. The rooms are dirty (e.g., my pillowcase had several black hairs on it). The icing on the cake was there was a man shaving in the women's restroom with nothing but a towel on. He arrogantly said "I'm staff", and proceeded to room... More

Dirty rooms and showers, unfriendly staff and some dodgy guests (who had apparently been thrown out of the nearby YHA). Avoid at all costs! It's worth spending the extra one pound to stay at either of the other two hostels close by.

This was by far, one of the better Hostels i have stayed in. I was very apprehensive at first from reading the reviews on here!!! BUT i have never been more impressed. Staff are helpful, showers and toilets are decent. They even took us out on a pubcrawl! A lot better than the near YHA hostel, in which i stayed... More

I stayed here for two nights in June of 2012. The Hostel is filthy, the rooms are tiny, and all in all it is a very unpleasant place. Do your best to find a different hostel, for example the nearby YHA hostel is far superior.
