- Accor Eastgate Oxford
- Mercure Oxford

On the High street, so very close to colleges etc. There is parking, for £15. Very narrow entrance to car park! Ask for a room on Merton Street, unexpectedly quiet. Room was comfortable, with a large bathroom. The check in was very efficient and the staff very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Reasonable hotel, good value for money, was a bit noisy with it so close to the High st. would go again if I could get a room lover looking the back. great location for seeing Oxford. The manager also upgraded my room for free as it was our sliver anverisary which was nice.

Can't do much better in Oxford than this without making a large dent in your bank balance, ideal location just off the high street and the magical magpie lane, character building with view across to the Examination centre which is a splendour in it's self. Hotel has a car park, restaurant, lift, bar. Our room on the third floor looked out...

Lovely hotel in a great location! Easy to find and could not be any closer to the centre of Oxford. With car parking as well! Did not eat at the hotel but it looked good and the bar was also well stocked.

We stayed 5 nights from 01/01/2012 to 06/01/2012.
The hotel is very conveniently situated near the center of oxford.
When we arrived there, with the coach from Heathrow airport (no. X70 - "the airline"), we got off at a stop called Queen's Lane on High Street, which was at about 80 meters' walking distance from the hotel.
We had booked...

Booked way in advance through Mercure's own website and the price was lower than any other hotel in Oxford centre.
For the money the hotel was well worth it. The front desk is quite informal, and it wasn't busy when we arrived. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Room was quite small and the bathroom showed signs of wear,...

I stayed here for the Oxford Patristics conference and you can't beat the location (its right around the corner from the Examination School). The price was very reasonable and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and fine. Although it was interesting that the layout of the room required that the two twin beds were literally jammed next to...

In some of our larger rooms the twin beds can be separated to avoid such a situation arising.
We look forward to welcoming you back for the next conference.

The location for this hotel was excellent, being only a few minutes from lots of the big colleges. There's also a handy car park that guests can use for £14, although I wasn't charged! This was great because parking in Oxford is a nightmare. The room itself was the usual clean and comfortable room you'd expect for the price. Staff...
