We booked an exclusive room so was a little disappointed how standard it was and for £89 without breckfast + £12 for parking in their own hotel carpark has put me off a returning. The hotel is really good, in a central location and near a tram route. I was on the 8th floor on the Club level, lots of perks including complimentary food and drinks all day, with wine and beer available on an evening. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was surprised to see ear plugs, but at 3:00 am... More

I slept in an Executive room: it had very old decoration and furniture, some lights didn't work, the heating system was so noisy that you can't sleep with it on. The bathroom is old fashion and little. You also need to pay 15 pounds to have internet and 12 pound for the car park which is belong to the hotel.... More

I had booked a room here as a surprise for my husband as we were going out in nottingham that night and I was disappointed for a number of reasons. Whilst the hotel itself was nice and the room aswell, it took nearly 20 minutes to check in. When I arrived at the room I was disappointed to find no... More

Checked in with Platinum 'complimentary upgrade' status to find that there were no upgrade rooms available. Th receptionist did however give me a complimentary breakfast which was appreciated. The room was comfortable, quiet and had lots of extras such as mini bar, lavender oils to help me sleep and a lovely desk from which to work. Good Job Crowne Plaza. More

I use the hotel regularly, typically twice each month for several days. The breakfast buffet is probably the best selling point - lots of choice well presented! The staff is generally quite helpful, although after staying there 10+ times, only one guy seems to recognize me and remember my preferences - such as feather pillows (standard pillows there aren't that... Although a city centre hotel it was fairly straightforward to find, take care with all the bus lanes and traffic cameras! The multi storey car park, effectively attached to the hotel, is also a public car park. The parking bays are restrictive especially if you have an SUV and remember to pay for parking on your hotel bill in the... More

My husband stayed here on New Years Eve 2011. It was a discounted price of £89 for a standard double with breakfast for 2 people. For the money & it being New Years Eve, the price was great value. The hotel is of a very good standard, the reception area & bar is beautiful, with marble floors & High ceilings.... More

Stayed here on the 7th jan, as a night away for me and my mum. Everything from check in, and the room was lovely. The room we stayed in was on the 4th floor, as was a superior twin. It had a mini bar also, although we didn't use this. We had lunch at the hotel, and this was good,... More
