Feversham Lodge again on our annual (sometimes twice) visit to York.Would not go anywhere else.Usual room(but all others are equally good).Usual great welcome and efficient but more importantly friendly service from our hosts.Always look forward to breakfast and was not disappointed with the selection, particularly the variety of home made items on offer.

This is a charming B&B in a quiet area in York, some 10 minute walk north of the city walls. There were some drawbacks to the room we got – the slated ceiling reduces the easily accessible space of the room and bathroom, and the room isn’t very large. However, this is typical of old houses, and part of the... More

This was our first stay in the Feversham Lodge Guest House and we will certainly book there for our next York stay, everything was just perfect, The bedroom was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choice and the hosts could not do enough to make our stay pleasant.

We spent a lovely 2 nights here recently. We stayed in the 4 poster room which was very comfortable and beautifully clean. Our hosts were fantastic. They were friendly, knowledgeable about York and really keen to ensure we were having a good time. Breakfast was very good with the best home made muesli I've ever eaten. We will definitely go... We have just left Feversham Lodge after a weekend away before my boyfriend leaves the country for work with the RAF. From the first contact with the hosts that I had, telephoning to explain our delayed arrival because of diversions and traffic issues, David was helpful, understanding and already made us feel comfortable. When we finally arrived, we were taken... More

My boyfriend and I spent our first weekend away together here and it didn't disappoint! It was ideally located, just a 15 minute walk to the centre and also had parking. I loved the idea of each room having its own different theme so we stayed in the Guinevere room which had a romantic feel to it as well as... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights at Feversham Guest House and enjoyed our stay. This Guesthouse is a good 20 minute enjoyable walk from the Train Station. We stayed in the gorgeous Guinevere room and the four poster bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb! A huge buffet of everything you can think of and an extensive range... More

We have recently returned from our second stay at Feversham Lodge where we were greeted like old friends by David and Elaine. It was my husband's birthday and we arrived to find a card and some chocolates in our room. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained with interesting books about the history of York. Breakfast is lovely with... More
