Great place to stay for a family with teenagers. Originally booked for 2 nights but extended it for an extra night. Had lovely rooms, fabulous breakfast. Lovely evening meals. I have just returned after spending 3 nights in a shoe box of a room with dirty underwear and socks left under the bed. The handles on the bedside cabinets were broken and if you want to listen to your neighbours bedtime activities and toilet flushing then this is your place. £87.00 per room was the biggest rip off ever. Have just returned from a long weekend in Whitby and was very pleased with the hotel. We had stayed here before but over 10 years ago and thankfully it has been updated and modernised. Very nice staff with nothing too much trouble. A great weekend and we shall definitely be back. More
