This was my second visit to Edmar, friendly hosts that take real interest in you, not like the lip service elsewhere. Clean room, clean bathroom ( great shower ) and a great breakfast to start the day. Hope I can join you again soon More

The Edmar Lodge makes an excellent base from which to explore the city of Norwich and the countryside around. The hosts Ray and Sue are well seasoned in the hospitality trade and know how to make their guests feel welcome and "at home" without being either overfamiliar or overbearing. The rooms are clean and well serviced. The hotel is a... More

..... the one in which we stayed was nothing whatsoever like the one "enjoyed" by the lady from Nottingham (27 March). We were in Norfolk for a family party & decided to extend our stay & spend a few days in Norwich before going home. Ray & Sue are a lovely couple, nothing is too much trouble, in fact they... More

Ray and Sue were perfect hosts, both very friendly, good-humoured and keen to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Our room was well set out and very cosy. The ensuite facilities were spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the establishment. There was a wide choice of high-quality breakfasts in a pleasant little dining room, set out... More

Stayed at Edmar Lodge in Norwich when we went to see Feeder at the UEA. Ideal location for that - there is a bus that goes right past the B&B to the UEA, and back again. The same bus also comes through from the railway station which is useful. The B&B is within walking distance to the shops in the... More

If you want a clean room with very friendly hosts then this is the one. Within walking distance of Norwich we found this place really good. Ray and Sue were lovely and very friendly and an excellent breakfast of top quality produce, I would recommend this accommodation to all ages and pockets. More

Edmar Lodge is situated within walking distance of the beautiful City of Norwich. Positioned on the corner of a fairly well used road and a private road servicing good class private accommodation, ones first impression of Edmar Lodge is of a well maintained two floor detached property surrounded by a well kept garden and shingle drive and well lit parking... We stayed for one night March 2009 so that we could have a short break in Norwich with our friends. We could not fault the experience and can only reiterate the previous comments made. The bus stops are right outside and for one pound the journey into the City centre is so convenient , almost like a personal taxi service,... More

Everything about this B&B is charming, comfortable and friendly. The rooms are exceptionally adapted to provide all that you could need, and I wished I could stay longer! Ray and his wife are lovely, providing a very warm welcome and continuing to be very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. I'd really recommend this perfectly located B&B, and will definitely... More
