I cannot believe there is a better B & B in Norwich (or maybe anywhere?) than this. It is a first class residence with service and location to match – the proprietors are friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout. We stayed in one of the new rooms on the top floor at the rear of the house. The room was spacious... More

This was a hard review to write. 105 reviews rating this as Excellent and interestingly the latest review rating it as very good. We heard about 38 St Giles after watching the Four In A Bed series on Channel 4. The B and B was voted as the winner and the owners came across as the most lovely people, Jan... More

However the breakfast is the significant... More

Normally steer clear of anything that seems like a B & B as we prefer the less intrusive service of an hotel. No good hotels available when we wanted to stay in Norwich, so went to 38. Beautiful house, warm welcome, secure parking. Excellent suite, marvellous bed and bedding. Fresh milk and cake on the tea tray. Lovely to be... More

Brilliant location, beautiful building and room very tastefully decorated - I enjoyed everything about my stay. The breakfast was delicious - all top class ingredients and cooked to perfection. The owner William was very friendly and helpful and suggested a lovely indian restaurant for dinner which we both enjoyed. Loved this place and would book again if in Norwich. More

This was a last minute booking and we nearly booked one of the chain hotels but thankfully, we found this gem of a hotel on the internet. We received a warm welcome on arrival and was shown to the 'Brown Room' on the first floor. The room was fantastic. The bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern. There... More

I wanted to treat my wife to a night away for her birthday, and I wish we could have stayed longer! Our room on the ground floor was beautifully furnished and William was a very helpful host, suggesting a fantastic pub nearby (The Plough, by the way). He also provided an amazing locally sourced full english breakfast the next day.... More
