Depressing exterior, sandwiched between too tatty, rundown shops. No warning of completely incomprehensible self service check in - but that at least prepares you for the rest of your stay - self service. Dowdy decor, hardly any channels working on tiny tv, shower took ages to heat up and then nearly scalded me despite consisting of a few thin needle... More

Small cold room, unhelpful staff, very noisy, smelly room, we were so cross with the lack of customer service when we tried to complain about the noise from upstairs between 3 am and 5 am, the rooms should be insulated to reduce sound travel, would never stay here again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone!!

Stopped at the OneSixTwo last weekend as me my gf my freind and his gf were down at the O2 arena for the boxing, We paid £50 pound each and we were very happy with that, We thought we would be getting a right dump, but were pleasantly surprised, We were basically only using the place as somewhere to crash... On the plus side: friendly staff, free wifi and free parking nearish by. However the cons outweigh the pros. Expensive. No close tube stops. Inadequate parking drop off at the front. Automated entry system made me feel unwelcome and like i was entering a prison. No cooked breakfast despite the cost.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a hotel! First off - having the room keys dispensed by an anonymous machine and once in the room threatening notices everywhere - £75 charge to your credit card for every rule you break. There was a strong smell of damp from the shower, flies in the room, window blind broken, kettle near... More

We just stayed one night. The room was up three flights of stairs. The electrics are problematic . No lights at all in our bathroom, which had no window. We were kindly offered use of the bathroom in the room above, in the attic (very very steep steps), which was ok, but not so convenient! Also one bedside light didn't... More

The staff were the only good thing about the hotel. Weird key system; lights don't work; showers awful/no pressure/cold; very small rooms; tv doesn't work; basin leaked. Owner lives in Brighton and can't be bothered to address problems.

I stayed here with my husband for one night only on 21 February 2013 and I can honestly say, this has been my worst experience in a B&B to date. The website is very misleading which I have noticed other reviewers have commented on. I was expecting a boutique-type B&B and what I got was more like a hostel-type accommodation.... More

Misleading from the start! It is, as someone else suggested, a doorway in a parade of shops. No reception, just a machine that gives you a key and tells you your room number. We were Room 11 right up in the attic. The door to our room is at the bottom of a flight of stairs and we discovered that... More
