This place is absolutely vile!!! & I've stayed in some horrible dirty hostels, and this is by far the worst! From the dirty run down hotel, staff are unbelievably rude & unhelpful, concierge desk laughed at me for asking a question, check in took HOURS, literally hours!!!!! Then once the lady finally began our check in, she turned around and... More

I spent three nights in this hotel during the Olympic Games. It was extremely crowded, and it added to the general atmosphere of the games. As I had made an online reservation long before, from Japan, the English breakfast was included, so there was no need for extra pay. I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that there was another... Hotel is in a great location close to metro station but that is all it has going for it. The staff are horrible and rude, they can't smile because their faces will crack. Not even a hello welcome to royal national. I get that they see alot of people every day as there are probably over 6million cells there but... More

The only good thing about this hotel is that it's near a tube station and it's in London central. Don't expect anything good in the free continental breakfast provided. You will have to pay 5 pounds for eggs and 7.95 pounds for hams, sausages, bacon and baked beans (1 serving, non-buffet meal). The bedroom and toilet are both equally shabby. No... More

Spent my 24 hours at this place queuing surrounded by about 3,000 tourists, half with back-packs, school trips, youth trips, plane loads of people from companies who clearly got a good deal on room rates and were packing them in. So avoid if you are wanting a business space, romantic, a sense of having 'got away from it all' or... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights prior to commencing a contiki tour (which leaves from this hotel). It's a huge place and there are lots of people around. We were told by our travel agent that we were booked in a double room but found out when we arrived that the hotel in fact only has twin rooms.... More

Our experience here was not pleasant and for the $ per night you could definitely find somewhere nicer to stay. Our room was cramped, we were given two narrow singles rather than a double and the bed was lumpy with springs sticking into my back all night. The hotel was noisy, the bathroom cramped and dirty and the breakfast inedible.

A very large hotel ideally sited for theatre land which is about thirty minuets stroll away, after all we let the locals rush around! This day and age I look for hotels that are cost effective and this is one of those. Clean. Tidy and showing its ruff edges, it's still served its purpose, but be warned its easy to... More

To say that this hotel was not up to standard is a gross understatement. The hotel is rated 3 stars but should not be! When I arrived there was no record of my reservation. I had the confirmation email, but they wouldn't accept looking at it on my smartphone and made me leave and go find an internet cafe to... More
