Bring earplugs to block out the noise from the busy street outside, and be prepared to check in at a different location down the street. Apart from those things, the hostel is simple and will cover your basic needs for a trip to London. I liked that a towel, bedsheets and breakfast were included in the price, even though the... More

Worst. I wouldn't pay £5 for a night in this place. It's on such a loud busy street, entrance in a small alleyway took ages to find. Can't change water temperature in the shower and have to continually press the tap because it turns off every 10 seconds. There are 2 toilets, 1 shower and beds and that's it. No... More

I stayed in a 4 bed dorm room. The room wasn't very clean and the girls I shared with were eating in the room and left their food/dirty dishes lying around which wasn't pleasant. But with no cooking facilities in the Oasis hostel they didn't want to walk up the road to the main hostel to cook and eat. Showers... More

I stayed at the oasis for two nights. it is nothing special and has everything you need, a bed, wifi bathrooms, i was not a big fan of the showers they where not very hot and you keep having to turn it back on cause it does turn off after 30 or so seconds. At first I thought it was... More

The main reason my friend and i stayed in this hostel was because it was so cheap and female-only. The rooms are incredibly small, and the bunk beds inconveniently close together. These beds are kind of unstable- mine couldn't fit next to the wall so it was on an angle, creating an unnerving gap between the bed and wall. Any... More

This hostel, which is an all girls hostel is located directly across from borough market! Which is such an amazing market, delicious smells and meals. And only a couple blocks away from the London bridge tube station. It's great location wise but it's quite an old building. The bathrooms/showers are quite old, need serious renovation, poor sleep due to street... More

I was really worried about staying here because of some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised with the room. I stayed one night, the room was nicely decorated and clean- the bed was really comfy! Also, there were fresh flowers and lots of storage space which was really good. There is quiet a bit of noise from the... More

First, this hostel was the noisiest hostel I've ever stayed in. It's on a major street next to a hospital (think ambulances all night long in addition to London traffic) and has single paned windows. The breakfast is ok but nothing more (think toast and Nescafe). To get the keys, check out, get breakfast, or do anything, you have to... More

A good location, but if you want more than just a place to sleep and leave your things, look elsewhere.

Whole street under reconstruction- dusty room- poor air flow and stuffy- bad for your health if you have asthma or any allergy- stuff not helpful as they are not able to do anything about the situation- It is cheap but it is absolutely terrible if you can't breath- beware! Also no lift only stairs plus can be very noisy so... More
