We arrived after 7pm on the Friday of the Bank Holiday weekend. We were greeted and led to the camping pitches by the very friendly staff. The site is very clean, the facilities are great, and very clean, we had no issues there whatsoever. The toilet/shower block is heated, which was fab so you could get dry in the showers... More

We looked for a camp site near London, and this was one of them. Arriving there, we saw they raised their prices (+50%!!) for the Olympic games, however, the campsite wasn't full at all as weren't hotels in the city centre. For 4 people we paid more than a £100 for two nights with a camper. And for that price:... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Lee Valley Campsite at the weekend for one night in one of the two person cocoons. Firstly I have to say the staff were excellent. Prior to our visit I called to state my reservations about the weather and they reassured me about how warm the cocoons are with the little heater on.... More

Lovely staff. Well cared for site with all basic's needed; Shower blocks - clean tidy no meters! Plenty of showers and toilets. We stayed in the "Pods", ideal as only stayed for two nights and wanted to make the most of London. So no need to put up tents! Great value for money. A real Gem. Combined bus and tube... More

The camp site was very clean and very well run, the staff where very friendly and helpful 5 star, we stayed in a 2 person Cocoon which was brand new, again exellent and dryer and warmer than a tent. We chose this site because it stated that dogs were welcome, and we always take our dog along on our trips, both for his enjoyment and security for the caravan. However, upon arrival, we were told that he needed to stay on lead for the whole visit, and couldn't even be let off to go to the toilet. Before being... More

This been our 2nd time camping in London, it was great. You can go straight into London via the bus route outside campsite, then onto the tube with a all-day ticket (which can be brought from the office). In the evening if you want to go and watch a film, its right next door to the campsite. The campsite is... More

Lovely site. Beautiful flat grassy ground for caravans with hardstanding. The tent field is very lumpy and bumpy... Nice facilities, clean toilets/showers with a combi-lock (the number is on the door...!) there is adequate washing-up and laundry facilities. Bus to Edmonton Green (and then onto London via overground) is 100 yds away. Seems to be very popular with European campers... More
