Set on a quiet street in Central London (yes, there is such a thing), this hotel was perfect for my three nights. It is not the most modern hotel out there, but it was clean and very comfortable. The lobby was glitzy (but old-world glitz) and the rooms might not necessarily be recently remodeled but they serve their purpose as... More

A nice clean hotel in a great area. Loads of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Rooms a bit small, but clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed, and very nice continental breakfast (incl fresh fruitsallad, youghurt etc) that you could upgrade to full English for an extra £13. Ideal hotel for business travellers.

I stayed at the Rathbone while on a business trip to London. I had a suite for the duration of my stay. The room, considering it was a suite, was definitely bigger than the usual London norm. The room as well as the hotel was clean. There was an old world charm to the entire place. Free Wireless internet was... More

What a smashing hotel this is! Like many of the previous reviewers, we felt royally treated by everyone from the moment we arrived. We'd booked via Superbreaks as part of a theatre weekend break and upgraded from the Superbreaks recommendation to this hotel. We're SO pleased we did and as part of that, a big 'thank you' goes to the... More

Brilliant hotel... Great location. 2 tube stops from Euston and a 5 min walk from Oxford Street. Surrounded by bars and restaurants. Service and staff at the hotel are superb .... Like being at a 5 star in NYC! Rooms/decor need updating a bit but everywhere spotlessly clean. Seems like a very well run/managed hotel :-) Breakfast was gorgeous ....... More

A very comfortable, cosy hotel in a very convenient situation, a five minute walk from Oxford Street and the underground. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. We stayed on the fifth floor and didn't particularly notice much noise from the bars. The weather was very warm but the air conditioning... More

Nice small hotel with perfect location. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious. No free WiFi, the price was £15 for 24h, or £6 for 1h. The rooms were clean and nice. The only cons I can point is bathroom cleanliness, each day I found new hair in the bath and on the floor. Also... More

This is a boutique Hotel. Very nice clean art Deco style. Great polite staff, Convenient for the Theatres and the British Museum. It's not cheap. However instead of making your stay a pleasant experience you are considered a cash cow. If you want a cooked breakfast that's an Extra £19. If you want to go on their Wi Fi that's... More

Very nice small hotel perfectly well located. The staff is always very kind and friendly especially at the front desk. The decoration is not very modern but the bedrooms are totally equipped with practical furniture and it's well cleaned. It’s 2013 and we can still find hotels with NO COMPLIMENTARY WIFI, so pity! Except that everything is good. Regards

Great hotel, no faults, except they should provide tea and coffee making in room and water bottles on arrival, cheap to provide but would be very welcome. Apart from that, exceptional value and very comfortable.
